Seats for GB increased in PU

Minister for education Gilgit Baltistan Ibrahim Sanai has said that the vice chancellor Punjab University has approved to increase GB's quota to 24 seats.This was previously 8 seats only. Vice chancellor took special interest to enhance opportunity for more students from Gilgit Baltistan: he said. He further said that vice chancellor Mujahid Kamran , education minister Punjab Rana Mashhood & Gilgit Baltistan student council also did their best in this regard. He thanked Punjab Government & Rana Mashhood in particular. GB education ministry is trying to double GB's quota in all engineering & medical universities across Pakistan & hopeful to give good news in this regard, he added. Remember that The University of the Punjab; informally Punjab University, is a public research university located in the downtown area of Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. It is the oldest and largest public university in Pakistan. Any notification of the decision was not yet issued.
